ANNUAL OSHA REFRESHER IS MANDATORY FOR ACTIVE MEMBERS...

    All active members are reminded that the annual OSHA refresher is going to be held on Saturday 01/17/09.  The program will begin at 8:00.  Lunch will be provided.  This program is also open to any member of the following departments; Fayette FD, Romulus FD, and Waterloo FD.  Any questions send an e-mail to the firehouse.

    Varick 1501 sent to Buffalo for Refurbishing...

    $60,000.oo in state dollars, which was secured by Senator Nozzilo will be used to have Varick 1501 refurbished.  Varick 1501 is a Crash-Fire-Rescue (CFR) style pumper that was acquired during the closing of the Seneca Army Depot with assistance from the Seneca County Office of Emergency Management.  The truck will be gone approximately three months.

    PLEASE KEEP THE SNOW CLEANED FROM AROUND THE HYDRANT IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE.

    If you have a fire hydrant on your property please take a few minutes when cleaning your driveway, and clean around the fire hydrant.  Your neighbors and the Varick Fire Department thank you in advance.
