IS YOUR HOUSE NUMBER EASY TO SEE FROM THE ROAD? 

   If your house number is not easy to see from the road, consider that it may cause a delay in emergency responders arriving to render assistance to you.  Often times emergency responders will go by a house poorly marked, just to have to turn the equipment around once they realize they have passed the residence.
  You can contact the Varick Fire Dept., and for $15.oo a green sign with white numbers can be made for your house, which can be affixed to a mailbox or paperbox post near the road.  The sign number are reflective and make locating your address easier in during the evening hours.

U.S. Cenesus Taker test to be offered at Varick FD
